In the second semester of my 1st year, we designed a cultural center and plaza for a site adjacent to Little Tokyo, Los Angeles. The building includes a theater, exhibition space, and private event space. The surrounding plaza acted as a park and mixed use space.

This project helped me learn how to integrate a building with the site and surrounding urban landscape. The landscaping serves multiple functions such as public seating, gathering spaces, and outdoor amphitheater space.
